Anne Frank Exhibition.

I was invited last night by Rabo Bank to the opening of the Anne Frank Travelling Exhibition at the Jewish Holocaust Centre in Elsternwick.

A Holocaust survivor addressed the room, which was very insightful and very emotional.

I think the story of Anne Frank is such an overpowering one because it truly speaks to both young and old. She was only a child, 13 years old, when she started writing in her diary.

This Exhibition was created by the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam. The secret annex that housed the Frank family was not reproduced. However, within the Exhibition was a very large print of the room.  The print was placed in a room about the size of the Frank's secret annex.

The Exhibition will be travelling around Australia for the next few years. It will remain in Melbourne until 28 April 2013.

Everyone should go and check it out.
